InPercussion is a mallet based interface that can transform any surface into an electronic percussion instrument. The interface is comprised of two electronic mallets, a computer or phone with a camera and the InPercussion software.
Revisions have included infrared tracking, color tracking, accelerometers, piezoelectric sensors, onboard microprocessors, and silicon rubber mallet heads (for performing with traditional acoustic instruments). Recent revisions achieved advanced rhythmic accuracy, velocity sensitivity, and low latency triggering. InPercussion has been used in many of my performances.
